The Baker Home and School Club is a non-profit organization charted with supporting and enhancing academic and extra-curricular activities at Baker School. The Home and School Club is funded by donations and fundraising programs and receives no government funding support. Information about the Home and School Club and its sponsored events will be updated on this website and may also come home to you in your child’s Wednesday envelope. You are welcome to attend our monthly meetings and share your opinions and enthusiasm as well as ask any questions you may have about the organization. You are a member! All Baker parents, teachers, and staff are members. So, walk into a meeting knowing that you already belong.
You can participate in any and all of our fundraising programs and events. Each of the following programs helps support Baker’s Home & School Club which directly supports our Baker kids, classrooms and school.
Fundraising Events and Activities
Scrip – Purchase gift cards and support Baker while you shop throughout the year
Kona Ice/Yogurtland- Purchase a tasty treat by the school office and support Baker
Shopping - Raise funds for Baker as you shop on-line and at local shopping centers
Restaurant Nights – Enjoy a great meal and support Baker
Box Tops – Remember to clip and turn them into the office.
Donate – Every donation we receive goes back to our kids. Don’t forget about CorporateMatching programs. Baker H&SC is a non-profit so utilize your company’s funds for our kids.

Yearbook – Help support our yearbook team by providing pictures from different events and classrooms.
Pumpkin Patch – Buy your Halloween pumpkins and enjoy spooky events (October)

Programs and Activities Funded by Home & School Club
STEAM Lab (Baker Space) Aids in purchasing supplies and materials for Baker's very own STEAM Lab. The lab will be open for classes to use in September.
Playground and Yard Duty During recess and lunch, we fund additional yard duty staff to ensure our children have fun and safe interactions. We also purchase playground equipment for the school.
Field Trip Scholarships We provide funds so that all students are able to participate in our wonderful grade-level field trips, including Science Camp, Sacramento, Monterey Bay Aquarium, and various local theater productions.
School-Run Programs These include Art Vistas, Math Olympiads, ABC Reader, Project Cornerstone, Literacy Day, Science Night, Destination Imagination and more. Common Core We'll be assisting the teachers and school in developing the Common Core program standards with additional supplies and materials.
Student Rewards To highlight and support our children's academic enrichment and positive character development, the school has set up a number of rewards programs to celebrate their achievements.
Assemblies We allocate funds to support assemblies that deal with academic enrichment and positive character building.
